This field portable, Mini-Permeameter measures the air permeability of irregular shaped core samples, slabbed rocks, and out crop formations. A small flexible tip is pressured against the surface of the sample and gas is injected into the sample. The laptop computer monitors flow rate and displays and stores the measured permeability. An accessory test stand holds the test sample and applies a constant load on the measurement tip.
