This instrument measures air permeability by the steady-state method as outlined in the API Specification 27. A core sample is placed into the core holder where the pore pressure and confining pressure can be varied as desired. The instrument is available with standard overburden Hassler type core holders or Temco’s Tri-Axial type core holders; with manual controls or computer control.
