This instrument measures the bulk volume and pore size distribution of the core sample. The bulk volume is measured as mercury immerses the sample and the pore size distribution is determined as a function of pressure. The test procedure is based upon API procedures. The injection pressure is measured with high accuracy pressure gauges or pressure transducers. An optional data acquisition system is available for data collection and analysis.
