This core flooding system can be used for testing formation damage caused by drilling mud invasion, acidization effectiveness, chemical compatibility, and fines migration. Several types of core holders can be used including Temco's patented Pressure Tapped Core Holder , which is recommended for the measurement of permeability variations along the length of the core sample. The core flooding system is plumbed for return permeability and for leak-off testing. Various fluids can be injected in either direction to determine the optimum treatment for a reservoir. These tests can be performed at reservoir pressure and temperature. The system, including pumps, is computer controlled and has automatic data acquisition and analysis.
