Tight Gas Sand Analysis
Studies are designed to better assess reservoir producibility and hydrocarbon reserves estimates while
maintaining clay integrity. Measurements of effective permeabilities to gas and formation electrical
properties provide formation electrical properties and relative permeability parameters as input into a core
calibrated reservoir model.
Gas Shale Analysis
Studies are conducted on gas shale to provide input parameters for gas in place shale model.
Measurements include in-situ water saturations, porosity of interconnected pore space, matrix permeability,
total organic carbon (TOC), and hydraulic fracture design parameters.
These measurements are input into a gas shale petrophysical model to refine hydrocarbon reserves estimates.
