Horizontal Band Saw

The Core Slabbing Horizontal Band Saw is custom designed for Core Laboratories to perform continuous slabbing of core samples or sections horizontally. The diamond-coated blade is oriented horizontally for precise manual control of core feeding and maintenance of flat slab free surfaces. Due to the varying types of material, which may be encountered during the slabbing process it is not recommended to go to an automatic system as you lose control and conformity.

FEATURES:

• Horizontal cutting to a maximum length of 48 inches
• Manual Travel
• Variable height cutting varying from a minimum of 3inces to a maximum of 8 inches
• Motor is 3 HP, 230 volt one-phase (Available in 50 or 60 Hz which must be specified)
