CT-Fracture Analysis: Picking

We mirror the circumferential view so that we can use picking tools that are designed for the inside of the well bore. These mirrored images should resemble down hole image logs (e.g. FMI log), and are used to correlate the core. The bedding and/or the internal laminae are also measured in most of the segments when possible. The fracture azimuths, apertures, and dips are measured using the projection lines (sine curves) on the mirrored circumferential CT images.
