Core Laboratories, in partnership with LCV, are pleased to present a regional rock-based evaluation of the reservoir, source and seal rock facies of Argentina, based on approximately 65 wells across the offshore regions of five basins: the Colorado Basin, San Jorge Gulf, San Julian Basin, Austral Basin and Malvinas Basin.
The study will provide a comprehensive evaluation of the extent and quality of all reservoir intervals and regional/local seals within a correlative stratigraphic framework. This will be complemented by a full evaluation of fluid and hydrocarbon source occurrences. The extensive datasets extracted from the study wells will enable interpretation of the locations of the main sediment transport paths and depocentres within the under-explored deepwater blocks of the study areas. The project builds on our extensive regional datasets and experience in Atlantic Margin Basins.
