KODIAK Enhanced Perforating System™
KODIAK Enhanced Perforating System™ combines perforating and well stimulation in one operation. It is designed to improve the communication between the wellbore and the reservoir in oil and gas wells. This improvement in fracture initiation and communication can lead to increased oil and gas production and/or injectivity in wells.
To initiate and propagate fractures within the surrounding reservoir rock, KODIAK™ uses a specialized, sequentially burning energetic material to generate a high-pressure gas pulse. The result of this process is enhanced perforations. The use of PulsFrac™ modeling software in combination with the KODIAK Enhanced Perforating System™ is a sophisticated approach to ensure that well stimulation is performed efficiently and cost-effectively. KODIAK Enhanced Perforating System™ can be used in new well completions, remedial perforating for inflow performance, saltwater disposal wells, water floods/injector wells, and in refracturing perforating campaigns.
