Oil Fluoroscope FL-1000
The oil fluoroscope is a versatile, dual-purpose instrument, designed for on site or laboratory inspection of drill cuttings for the presence of oil. The portable, easy-to-use fluoroscope is provided with easy access side doors, flip top lamp and bulb holder, high intensity lamps, and rubber goggles.
The operator can use a white light to examine drill cuttings and then switch to an ultraviolet light to determine the existence of hydrocarbons. All of this can be accomplished without removing the sample from the instrument. This instrument includes a single white light and four (4) fluorescent black light bulbs.
